Twin Disc products were presented at the company's booth
The batch of lifeboat engines has been delivered to Russia by the official distributor
The contract is concluded with OJSC “Yaroslavsky shipyard” for delivery of 12 geared diesel installations based on Scania engines and Twin Disc gearboxes. The engines will be installed on A40-2B project ships being built for Gosmorspassluzhba of Russia (the State sea rescue service of Russia).
As compared with previously built ships of the same project, a number of changes has been introduced in propulsive system of new ships, including the increased power of propulsion engines up to 588 kW (441 kW engines were installed previously), and a new automatic equipment system has been developed on the basis of ComAp processor.
First ships of the new series shall come into operation in 2016.
