SPB Marine has delivered the propulsion system for the construction of a series of tankers.
Company SPB Marine supplied marine equipment for the project RT18. This project involves the construction of a series of three tankers by Yaroslavl shipyard JSC.
Supplied equipment kit is a complete propulsion system, which includes marine engines Scania DI12, gearboxes and control systems, shafts and screws.
Note that RT18 was the last project, which use marine engines` model Scania DI12. This model has worked well in Russia on such projects as TH04 and 10/KIP and fully meets the modern requirements of classification. However, Scania constantly improves engines. Currently, instead of model Scania DI12 a new generation of engines comes. It is Scania DI09M and Scania DI13M (five- and six-cylinder machines, capacity of which is 9 and 13 liters, respectively).
