SPB Marine LLC has won a tender for delivery of propulsion units for three ships under RT18 project that are being built at the Yaroslavl ship yard under the state program “Service fleet renewal”.
Scania DI12 M main engines with a capacity of 2 × 221 kW, ZF W325 reduction gears and ZF Clear Command control systems will be installed on these ships. A bunkering tanker under RT18 project is designed to transport oil products with a flash temperature of over 60 °C. The ship deadweight is about 517 tons.
The ships are being built under order of Russian sea and river fleet for the Kama, Volga-Baltic and Volga-Don State Basin Authority of Waterways and Navigation.
